Keeping in mind our Mother Tongue

Every language spoken in the world represents a special culture, melody, color, and assets and to everyone that mother language is certainly one of the most precious treasures in our lives. It's a duty and responsibility to preserve it and pass it down from generation to generation.
Mother tongue, the first language or the mother language is the language a person has learned from birth or within the critical period, or that a person speaks the best and so is often the basis for sociolinguistic identity. Sometimes the term mother tongue or mother language is used for the language that a person learn as a child at home usually from our parents. Children growing up in bilingual  homes can have more than one mother tongue.
Mother language has a very powerful impact in the formation of individuals. Our first language the beautiful sounds of which one hears and get familiar with before being born while in the womb, has such an important role in shaping our thoughts and emotions. A new language opens a new window in our world view and makes more aware and open minded. Moreover, knowing another language has been proven to contribute in helping us to understand mother tongue better.
